Book Review Sunday : Forget Me Not by Luna Lewis

Happy Easter!

Everybody full of chocolate yet? This book review isn’t the slightest bit Easter themed I’m afraid. Today I’m reviewing “Forget Me Not” by Luna Lewis.

“A tragic suicide? When Rose’s daughter, Vivien, is found dead in a suspected suicide, Rose has questions nobody can answer. Wasn’t Vivien living the perfect life? A caring husband, a sweet little girl of her own.  Or the perfect murder? But as the police investigation develops, their findings raise new questions. Did Vivien kill herself, or was she attacked? If so, who has something to hide? As Rose struggles to piece together the secrets of her daughter’s life, the cracks in the family begin to show. But once Rose knows the answers, there’s no going back…” Blurb taken from Amazon

I found this book a little slow to start, but once the story gets going, its gripping! I think I finished it over a weekend. I found the main character a little hard to like at first, but as the story goes on and you learn more secrets about the daughter, you start to sympathise with her more. I love how this book sets you up to believe in was definitely one character who murdered Vivienne, and I totally fell for this, so the ending was a total surprise! This book covers some really important issues, such as post natal depression and eating disorders, which tie in really well with the story. This book is increably well written, and I’ve already finished another Luna Lewis book. Lewis has a way of writing which just draws you in, and keeps you turning pages. I highly recommend for fans of thrillers and suspense novels!

Let me know if you’ve ever read this book and what your thoughts are!
