Models Own, Barry M & Ciate Nail Look

I have a nail polish look for you today!

I’m not normally one for nail looks, with the job I have it seems to be a waste of time doing my nails. However since I bought some pretty new polishes this week I thought I’d do a look and review for you all.

The completed look

So this is my completed look using the following products. I thought this was a lovely neutral look which would go with pretty much anything.

Barry M Iron Mani Nail Hardener & Barry M Quick Dry Nail Paint In 546 Freestyle.

Firstly I applied a coat of Barry M Iron Mani. This claims to smooth, strengthen and prevent breakages. So far I like this, but you do have to be careful because a lot gets stuck on the brush and drips everywhere. I then applied 2 coats of this really pretty pink colour by Barry M to all my nails except the ones next to my little finger. I love this colour! It’s the perfect shade to make your nails look pretty without overpowering. These were both around £4 at Superdrug

Models Own Chrome Rose & Models Own Hypergel

I’ve never used anything from Models Own until the girl at the stand persuaded me to give these a go and I’m so glad I did. Chrome Rose is the really pretty rose gold colour I applied to my other fingers (I need to learn the actual names for fingers!) The first coat looked a little streaky so I applied a second coat which came out really nicely. This shade was around £5 but models own had a 3 for £10 offer on too. The lady at the counter also told me this was their best selling shade of all time. After adding the Ciate glitter (photo below) to my nails I then added the Models Own Hyper Gel Top Coat to them all. This was £8 but came half price with another purchase so I got it for £4. This polish claims to harden your nails and give them a gel effect. I’m really impressed with this, my nails haven’t chipped yet!

Ciate Mini In Mineral Love.

I decided to top off my nails with this pretty polish by Ciate. In all honestly I wish I hadn’t because I think it looked just as nice without the glitter. I actually have no idea how much this polish was because it came as a Birchbox sample. But it is a really nice polish and fab for adding a bit of sparkle.

And that’s all the products I used in my nail look! What did you think? Would you like to see more of these posts? Do you have any nail products to recommend?
